We drove to New Hampshire yesterday to watch our son play tennis with his college team.  At the last minute I threw my winter down jacket on the back seat of the car just in case I needed it ... and yes, I needed it.  What looked like a nice spring day turned chilly by the time we got there.

Christmas 2011

The holidays are are time for spending with family and of course overindulging - and we did both.

N.Y.C.

Went to New York to see Madama Butterfly at the Met.  When I got off the train Penn Station looked like this.

Lincoln Center looked like this.

When the show was over it looked like this.

Christms could be felt everywhere.

On our way to Rockefeller Center to see the magnificent Christmas tree we passed beautifully decorated store fronts.

We finally made it after fighting through a crush of people.  It was like a mob scene.

Not a Good Day for UCONN Soccer

We drove to UCONN with high expectations and were disappointed after 2 overtimes in the penalty kick shootout.  UCONN lost and is done for the season.
