Took the train to NYC today to see La Traviata at Lincoln Center.

The performance was spectacular.  A truly great opera by Verdi.  After that we walked back down thru Hell's Kitchen to 34th street and passed a great store that sells anything from lots of varieties of coffee to spices to baked specialties.  If you like spinach pie, this is the place to go.

We ate at Lugo located across the street from Penn Station.  Great calamari.

It was a great day.  Tomorrow I have to catch up on all the household chores I didn't do today!
